At EmpowerMama we are dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of mothers at every stage of their journey. As a community Interest Company (CIC), our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based services and resources that empower and nurture women, and consequentially strengthen families. From emotional support and educational programs, we strive to create a safe, inclusive space where mothers can thrive.
Our approach combines professional expertise with a deep understanding of the unique challenges of motherhood, ensuring that every mother feels valued, supported, and confident in her journey.
Our Team
Our Executive Director and Founder, Dr Chloe Marshall, is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist with over 16 years experience supporting people with their mental health.
Drawing on her extensive professional expertise, she combines evidence based practices with a compassionate, understanding approach to care. As a mother of two, she brings personal insight into the challenges and joys of parenthood, creating a unique perspective that informs every aspect of our work. Her passion is helping mothers feel supported, confident, and empowered on their journey.

Nadine Hirst
Our Non-Executive Director, Nadine Hirst, is a dedicated educator currently working as a teacher in the care sector, with an extensive background supporting young people from a wide range of diverse and complex circumstances. Through working closely with children who have faced significant challenges, she has developed a deep understanding of the vital role that nurturing stable support plays in a child’s wellbeing. This experience has inspired Nadine to extend her work to support mothers, recognising that empowering and equipping parents has a powerful, lasting impact on both children and families as a whole.
Our Non-Executive Director, Sarah Green, is a highly experienced mental health nurse with over 12 years’ experience in mental health services. Her career has given her a deep understanding of the emotional, psychological, and relational needs of families. As a mother of two, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her role, offering valuable insight, guidance, and governance to support our mission. Her passion for early intervention, maternal wellbeing, and compassionate care ensures our work remains truly responsive to the needs of mothers.
